Awesome shot Guppy!
But that cannot possibly be *your* 38.... no bullet holes and BOTH engines running??
-
He just got there, that was his 1 before he got blasted. :)

Keep em coming:)
Gotta love it when the matchup actually works for the history look.

Not a matchup, but a nice formation shot.

Gorgeous shots, everyone. Might I recommend using minimum field of vision? The way a human eye sees something in reality is with the zoom of minimum field of vision, but with the field of vision of maximum field of vision. Let me rephrase that; in order to get the result of what the human eye sees, you'd need to zoom in all the way but also have the maximum field of vision (which are direct opposites in the game). Here's what I mean; these two pictures were taken from the same angle at the same time in the film. What I did for the lower shot was to put the FOV zoom slider all the way to the right, then drag the distance zoom slider to the desired distance.

Saxman, you might want to consider dropping the icons.

I just remembered a film I did in the DA yesterday. Went back and pulled a pretty cool screenshot. I was thinking something similar to Guppy "Interesting, it's a realistic matchup" but then didn't think of it again until now.

How are you gents getting all the external view screenshots when online!?!?!?!?
Grue
-
it's the film viewer, you just record your flight go back into the film viewer and you have access to all the views. You can tell when they use the film viewer because all the skins are default except the author's plane.
-
lol i just felt the need to post a picture that i liked lol :aok
-
lol ok now i know(http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/2490/formationflynqx0.th.png) (http://img251.imageshack.us/my.php?image=formationflynqx0.png) this is historic! .....atleast i hope :D
-
Oh, thanks!
I haven't yet messed with the film viewer yet - I probably should since it looks like a really good way to dissect those "How did that happen!?" moments.

Photographer at Debden snapped this pilots jubilant 'buzz-job' from atop the base control tower... presumably as he dove for the floor- note the railing at the bottom of the photo.
