Hi all,
Just a quick question based on an observation. It seems there is a change in flight modeling between the TA and MA. Turns that are no problem in TA cause spins and stalls in MA. Is there really a "relaxed" realism in the TA??? If so, I think it hurts those who train there. They become used to the easier flight model and experiance higher frustration in the main arena. I understand the gunnery change but the flight model ought to be the same to avoid ingraining bad habits that make you an easy kill in MA.

Mav, I think you are experienced the placebo effect. Or else you are flying with small fuel loads in training and large fuel loads in the main.

Blink!!!! The light goes on. Yep I fly with low gas in TA and in the Spit, have to take full gas to get anywhere with enough loiter time to die. That might be it.
Still seems to be an overly significant degradation of performance though.

Most planes flying on fumes are damned good. It's probably just South park which a warped your fragile little mind.
