Yeah,  I have a spam folder that all the spam goes to. I checked that.  I see that you can change your password on their main page but unfortunately I need my old password to change it.

I'll give them by the end of the day and cancel my subscription.  This shouldn't be so hard to do.  3000 + Members at $15 a month and they don't check the board.  I sent two e-mails also.  One to support and one to sales.

Seems to me it will be your loss!

You did go here (https://www.hitechcreations.com/admin/index.html) and fill out the resend password then ?

I would always give people at least a few days to respond as a minimum. I might get upset if it took longer than a week. In the end you have to remember there are a lot of people subscribing and occasionally account queries may be more than usual.

If you are in the US then Monster0 has a point. - As a UK player that would not be a cheap solution, plus I would have to remember the time zone changes. PS it is the weekend you know and admin staff are not going to be at work seven days a week!

I believe they have the weekend off.  But when I call them during work hours they always answer the phone.

Do your math buddy.  they can afford to have someone check a forum once in a while.

I'm just anal about some stuff.  Support is something that isn't like it should be on some online games. If there's trouble with a e-mail that can be checked before taking my money. Plus,  I have access to all my e-mail.  Noting has come to me.  Having a forum eliminates e-mail problems also.  So, they pay a few guys a couple of bucks to support the forum so people don't have to wait.  Also........lol   now I'm on a roll!  You could put a option in so you can change your password from the game interface the first time you sign no.  I don't know,   maybe I think things should be right in front of me.  At least now I know I can come to the Web Site and find my way to the place to change my password.

I think you will find that the forum is not a replacement for emails and you will have to wait. The common sense answer is get in touch with the Admin staff in the working week. :)

If you were referring to my maths, then I assure you it isn't bad at all. At least I didn't forget my password number. Believe it or not, I wrote it down somewhere just in case ;)

Since you're obviously new, I'll clue you in:  Making posts like this doesn't help anything!  Making a threat to cancel your sub will not make the process go any faster.  One idea would be to save the email that you got with your password in it.  Another would be to change your password to something easy to remember.  HTC has some of the best support around, but people do get weekends off you know!

apparently remembering your password isn't one of them.

we have a saying where I work that kinda fits this situation---

"your lack of planning does not constitute my emergency"

:aok :rofl

Through all this I did find out what the problem was.  My wife move the paper I wrote the password down on.  I found it:aok   It's always the wife's fault. :rofl

I could do without the smart bellybutton comments.  That just adds to my frustration in trying to get Support.

What the hell was I thinking anyway?  Support on a weekend?  Who supports online games on the weekend anyway!:lol :rofl

We all took this as a smart remark.  It's all good and I understand your frustration.  Next time might I suggest taking a deep breath before posting.  We all appreciate the great customer service that htc provides so we get a little defensive: >   And as u see many here tried to help you.

Our office is closed on the weekends.  We monitor the servers for any problems but account support is generally not available on the weekends.

Not much I can do about anything on the board as it pertains to a password as I do not have access to the information about the accounts from home.  And I really do not want to have that access.

If your email address in your account is MSN/Hotmail, or Yahoo, I am pretty sure that any email from our bulletin board or registartion server will be blocked and there is nothing we can do about it.

If your email address is on AOL, then it can literally take days for email to reach you.

I do try an help folks on the boards over the weekends, but that support is not gauranteed.

Now someone is screwing with me.  I got my password, logged in, went to the web site and changed my password to a password that I have been using for 10 years, changed the e-mail to my ISP e-mail.  Guess what?  I can't login in.     Maybe it's not worth it  lol

Skuzzy, is there any difference between password mail and forum notification mail (PM received, for example)? I havent problems with forum notification mails, but did not get password when i requested it about 3-4 days ago. Mail is exactly same.

Oleg, they are apparently filtering based on content.  We get no bounce from them at all, and they will not talk to us.  So all we can do is guess.

2big, I appreciate your concern, but before you go off the deep end.  If you wish to discuss those matters, then do so privately.  Nothing you mentioned is really a problem for us.  And if companies are building spam fillters based on PTR records, then they are in the wrong, not us.

Our name service is a bit screwy as AT&T insists on handling the reverse lookups and refuses to make us authoritative for the IP block.

The only problem is with MSN/Hotmail and Yahoo.  They do not bounce thier emails when they decide not to deliver them.  I have a real problem with that.  If a service wishes to filter/block an email from delivery, they should bounce back with an error code indicating such.  Giving us a satisfactory delivery code, but not delivering the email is just wrong.

I apologize.
Since that info is publicly accessible I thought no harm.

I have to apologize for being a little impatient.

I found out what happened.  I'll let you know for further reference.

When I found my password I logged on to the web site and changed my password to a password I wouldn't forget.  After changing my password I went in and changed my e-mail address because I never got any e-mails with the one I was using. By mistake,  I changed my e-mail address to an old one I no longer have.  For some reason when you change your e-mail address it automatically changes your password and re-sends you a new password.  Unbelievable right?   I couldn't get the new password because it was sending it to a e-mail address I didn't have.
:huh :(

Only to those who know how to.  Just enough info there to make the curious try.  Know what I mean?

Yes, when you change your email address in your account record a new password is generated and sent to the new email address.
