OK Skuzzy. I just hopped on here and flew a sortie after updating to current version and rebooting. I ran a traceroute and get a massive spike in hop 7 for me and the IP address and other information of the trouble is here: 12.123.16.209 br2-a340s8.dlstx.ip.att.net.
Running pingplotter from my box here at home it shows a ping through that IP between 33 and 400ms!!!! Most of them are between 150-250ms on average. Also I am getting packet loss at that hop but nothing showing as packet loss anywhere else that I can find.
I can email you or upload the text file from Pingplotter if you need it.
Thanks

I believe HTC will not be able to help you with the internet. You must provide this info to your isp. See if they can help you, if not I would suggest using another service then.

While you are correct that they can not help the internet stuff this hop is just one up from where I make the connection with the server and its more than likely on their service providers end also its within the same host group as their server.

If it's a problem on 12.123.16.209 then u would not be the only one experiencing this problem. I have no problems with that hop.
-
If that is the last hop before is hits the servers, then the issue will more than likely be an asynchronous route and the actual problem is on the return trip to your computer.
I'll have to run a trace from the server back to you tomorrow.
Think about it. If the hop just before our server was suffering really bad packet loss and/or wildly varying ping times, it would effect everyone in the same exact manner, without fail.
That is why I am pretty sure the problem is on the return trip, but I will not know where until tomorrow.

Well thats why they pay you the big bucks Skuzzy. Thanks for helping me out. I can get that information out to you tonight so you will have it then.
