how come the troop doesn't have a helmet, and maybe a thompson. That is why they always get shot they are pilots. not infantry. If they were true parotroopers they would take more bases.on top of that this my quote is from this link (http://www.boeing.com/history/mdc/skytrain.htm)
"As a supply plane, the C-47 could carry up to 6,000 pounds of cargo. It could also hold a fully assembled jeep or a 37 mm cannon. As a troop transport, it carried 28 soldiers in full combat gear. As a medical airlift plane, it could accommodate 14 stretcher patients and three nurses. Seven basic versions were built, and the aircraft was given at least 22 designations, including the AC-47D gunship, the EC-47 electronic reconnaissance aircraft, the EC-47Q antiaircraft systems evaluation aircraft and the C-53 Skytrooper"
it would hold 28 troops not 10.

very well..hitech has now changed the c47 loadout os it can carry 28 troops wearing helmets!!!
it also now requires 28 troops to capture a field....
keyboard and joystick makers have applauded this maneuver as it now wears out the secondary fire and "B" button.
Gooooo realism!

I remember when the troopers held their arms up as if holding the straps of the chute. Back then if you used external view on a loaded c47, you could zoom INTO the area where the troops were in back of the plane. They would actually be inside the plane, lined up front to back & still in the arms up position as if holding chute straps.
During this era, I had lifted a fighter at the same time another player lifted a loaded goon of troopers. Somehow, one of the troopers ended up to the outside of my fighter. It looked like a wingwalker. I tried to get it on film but when I hit record it went away.
If I remember correctly, the troopers from that era even ran in that position(similar to Atlas pose), which was most un-natural looking.

Or, you can set the salvo from "10" to "28" and only press the button once.
