1)   Select “spawn” under the “Object” tab and place it.
2) Click "Goto" to zoom in.
3)   In properties set “Object Type” to “Veh Entry”, in the “Object Properties” window
4)   While selected, “Rotate”, any unassigned spawn direction is ok.
5)   Now change the “Object Type” to “Ftr Entry”, in the “Object Properties” window again
6)   Last thing, set Y to your air spawn alt.

Easycor, HTC fixed the "No way to determine which way ftr / bomb entry points are facing" bug. Now there is a line displayed when you rotate so you see which way the spawn is facing.

So, blue, do this:

1. Locate the "entpnt" object.
2. Place it onto your terrain.
3. Change it's "Object Type" to "Ftr Entry" or "Bomb Entry".
4. Change the "Y" to the desired alt (If you want planes to spawn at 10K, make the digit: 10000.000)
5. Attach the spawn to the field desired.
6. Press OK to make it.

It doesn't get easier than that. The entire "naming the spawn point" and placing it at the right alt occurs within the "Object Properties" window.
