Ya I wish the glass for the gunsight was clear.
-
Huh? I don't get the problem? The gunsights usually are clear?
-
i have no idea wat u mean? :huh
but it think u mean like u can't see through the crosshairs?
you can change that when u go to the gunsights option thing, and where it says "alpha" just pull it up, then it become more transparent

Maybe its some video cards, but my gunsight glass is always milky, and worse with the sun behind it. Its never clear.
-
there r windex in hangar for that
-
It appears to be the ones that have that "real glass" look that are the culprits. I have a top line unit with :
amd 3600 64 bit,
1gb ram
assus mobo m2m-e
Nvidia 7600 GT with external power 400 watts
xp-pro on a samsung 19" monitor.
system runs only the game.

there is a 38 with a really poor visibility through the sight reflector glass.

The G's armored glass doesn't help one bit with clarity.

I noticed lastnight that the 262's gunsight glass is very 'foggy' compared to the 109s and 190s, which is perfectly clear.
-
Yep that foggy glassplate on the P38G has made me miss too many killing shots........
Eventually forced me to move to the P38J.......
But all other sights seem to be clear to me though.......
But then again......I'm a permanoob:o :)

Can you post a screen of what you are seeing? Also, have you adjusted your cockpit views with the arrow keys, then locking them down with the F10 so you can see the guages without having to zoom in? :noid

When you combine the foggy glass with low light settings of dawn and dusk the plane practically disappears into the landscape.
-
anyone else's tempie not even have a glass plate? I've always wondered about that.

The German planes featured a tinted gunsight in real life too, I think that's what you're seeing?
They were applied in 109's, 190's and probably the 262 too.
But in real life the tinted sight could be lowered, unlike in AH
