I was wondering if we could have more damage done to tanks before them dying. When you hit a panzer in the turret with another panzer, sometimes it blows them up and other times it bounces off without doing anything. In real life I doubt it just bounced off without leaving a mark.

If your close enough to a tank spawn to admire a nick or dent on a tank you wont be around too long...different effects for a tank death would be cool...heck maybe even a crewman jumping out in flames :-p. But minor damage would be a waste.

can we have it if u hit a tank right it sets the inside of it on fire so all the shells explode:D (or is that modeled by the flying turret?

Generally it did exactly as you said - if round bounce off it doesnt any damage to armor, like you can see on Lusche's picture.
I read late war german tanks has low quality armor (because of lack of alloying metals or so), it cracks when hit. Also soviet SPG SU-152 "Zveroboy" ("Animal Killer") with 152mm howitzer gun just teared off Tiger's turret w/o penetration. But this is another story.

Finally found one nice article i read time ago.
In august 41 near Leningrad city soviet heavy tank KV-1 under 1st lieutenant Kolobanov command ambushed german tank column and destroyed 22 (twenty two) tanks and 2 anti-tank guns. His KV-1 had additional armor plates increases his armor up to 100mm and was almost completely immune to german tanks fire. After end of fight crew counted about 130-160 dents on armor, all rounds bounced off. Most significant damage was wedged turret after hit in turret-hull joint (weak spot of KV-1).
