Computer crashed 3 days ago, got new hard drive installed and downloaded AH again. When i try to play, screen goes white and it wont work. I had this problem when i first started playing and it was something w/my screen resolution i believe. I copied my dxdiag thing like was said in other posts i searched.
Any help would be appreciated.

Intel makes really poor graphics cards. There's a 99% chance that this is the cause of your problem.
-
No sound card.
-
NHawk, it won't freeze on a white screen if there's no sound card. It'll return an error and boot you to the desktop (happened last time I reformatted and forgot to install sound drivers before booting AH up)
I think white screen is a video issue.
Edit: But good catch on the missing sound card. I instantly went to video without checking sound.
-
Ya, i have no sound yet. I have to get a system disk from another computer like mine, ive lost mine. I went to toshiba.com to upload the sound driver, but there is no sound driver shown for my computer. I dont know what to do, dont know anything about computers. This is the same computer i have always played on, only diff is it has a different hard drive, guy at computer place told me the hard drive has nothing to do w/gaming. Also, old hard drive was 60gig and this is 40 gig, but it only cost me $80 and im cheap.

You will not be able to get the game to run without the native sound card driver.
In the game's "Video Settings", make sure you set the "Maximum Texture Size" to 256 and see if that helps.
