TOO MUCH INFO:rolleyes:

whoops typed wrong, 3 words*

titanic, he provided all the info we need to help him with his dxdiag. Not "too much" at all. If you cant help, just refrain from posting please.
drugello:
Can you enter the OFFLINE mode and play there for some time? If yes, then its a connection/net issue somewhere. If you cannot stay in Offline mode, then the problem lies somewhere in driver/hardware.
In the Dxdiag tool, he Hardware accelleration on the Sound Tab should be set to STANDARD, not full.
The graphics chip youre using is an integrated one. What are your ingame vid settings?
Try a max of 256 texture size, preload only textures into sys Mem. Screen res youll have to try if 800 or 1024 works better. Disable skins as well as vehicle effects in the graphic details.
Also, check your temperatures/voltages to make sure.

schatzi. I can fly perfectly in offline mode. I lowered video resolution and changed the audio acceleration to standard. My ping plots to all of the arena servers is well within acceptable limits. I deleted AH completely and downloaded anew and reloaded but I still get the same thing. Please post any new ideas if you have any, I am at a loss on this one???????

I have reloaded AH completely and disabled all AV and FW apps. I am at a loss here. I get into any arena and after 10 to 20 seconds I get the "lost host connection" message and thats it........... My ping plots are good I have no other firewall apps running no router and all ports from 2000 to 5000 are open for both TCP and UDP. PLEASE HELP IF ANYONE CAN?????Everything was running fine and I cant figure out what changed????

Sounds like something is using bandwidth in the background.
Be it chat/spyware/or MS auto updater.
Thats just my guess.

Ohh and wireless modem/ how many on network?
-
ran a bandwidth test, peak was 4.2mbs and the average was 3.1mbs, when I started AH I was only seeing .01% bandwidth utilization and a peak of .05% utilization. I dont think nothing else is running in the backround and if it is it isnt using much resources??????? ALL help is greatly appreciated, it's been two days no flying this sucks!!!!!

This may have been mentioned already. If so disregard.
I have had issues in the past with discos if I leave the "download skins in background" on. Turn this off if not already. Good Luck.
-
Drugello,
I just saw your other thread about too many processes running.
Maybe one of those 50 processes is causing the discoes?
Or maybe you shut one down that AH needs to stay connected?
-
start the game up and then hit . Hit the processes tab and watch the % numbers. AH sure be using a 100% or close to it of CPU cycles. If you see something else grab a bunch of cycles... percentage then that could be the culprit.
Run a ping plot for a few mins then post the results here. Pings maybe good, but pack loss may be a problem. Internet is a bit "crappy" for the past few weeks due to hackers trying to crash nodes on the backbones of the internet..... or so I've been told.

Maybe it's a typo, but AH requires ports 2000 to 6000 UDP and TCP. But should be irrelevant without a firewall running.
