Post by: JB88 on February 25, 2007, 07:17:25 PM
HAhahahahahahahahahahaaaaa  HO ha  ha ha ... ahem (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6390291.stm)

"Mexican legislators said they had photographs and video, taken on Monday, of the workers and heavy-duty construction equipment that showed them about 10 metres inside Mexico near the border city of Agua Prieta and the town of Douglas, Arizona.

The Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa said she had complained to the US authorities and that the men and equipment had been withdrawn. "

The Mexican government is worried that it's people will start staying home and begin cleaning up their own country.  Also it might hamper their drug traffic.

That would be some fine training for our Bradley and Strykers crew, preventing illegal immigrants from sneaking into the country.  Shoot, even the terrain of U.S./Mexico border is similar to Iraq/Iran or Iraq/Syria.

I got a better idea... how bout we make drugs legal and put people who hire illegals in prison for a year or so?

won't even need a fence to keep out illegals.

Im a firm believer in creating the "great wall of america" using rapist and child molesters as labor. The solution wont be cheap but in the long run its a better price then what we have been paying.

An estimated 1.2 million illegal immigrants were arrested in 2005 trying to cross into the US via the border states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.

..................All were quickly transported back across the border so as not to delay their next crossing. All but three were seen dining at Taco Mayo, in the U.S. the next day. :)

They are doing that, and they got called out on practicing illegal labor practices..

Bringing Them in to Keep Them Out?

A southern California company responsible for building much of the border fence that helps keep illegal immigrants out of the country will pay nearly $5 million in fines — for hiring illegal immigrants.

The U.S. Attorney says as many as one-third of the Golden State Fence Company's workers were in the country illegally — even after the company pledged to clean house when authorities discovered illegal workers on the payroll back in 1999.

Two executives could also face jail time, but their attorney says the case merely proves that construction companies need a guest worker program.

The only reason the fence is being built is to make it appear the government is doing something when they really don't want to.  The only way to solve our problem is to "draw and quarter" all those who give aid and support to the invading army of mexico.  If they really wanted to be Americans they would have learned to speak English, at least, before they crossed our border.  But of course they are not interested in becoming Americans because they are at war with us and wish to overthrow the People of the United States and their weapon of choice is to out breed us. They have already overthrown our federal government.

It only covers half the border with Mexico. Even though the Rio Grande is too shallow to hold any monster bass. How about we get some Russian engineers and soldiers and build the American Wall. The wall will consist of a 15ft high concret wall with barbwire on top then a pit full of mines and then a another wall with barbwire on it. Guard towers will be placed every 300 yards with machine guns and lights installed. Every place where animals migrate from U.S. to Mexico, or Mexico to U.S. (not humans) will have a bridge to walk across. At these bridges will be automatic turrets to keep the animals from being scared of humans, and so that they cross. Cameras will be placed at these points and on ever tower. Motion sensers will be placed on the wall facing towards Mexico. In desert parts it will be the same, but there will be water fountains on the wall for those who forgot there water and tried so hard to cross.

Oh, and a nice sign to show off the "altitude" records for those that happen to stop on a mine :D

Expanding the guest worker program and enforcing existing immigration laws such as going after those businessess or individuals that hire illegal immigrants.  Go after the source of what draws them here and despite what most of you think, these people are coming here to better their lives and those of their families and are honest, hard working people.

Also, the guest worker program should be expanded but there is a lot of resistance to this from the industries that rely on an illegal immigrant work force.  They don't want to have to spend what it would take to make them compliant with US guest worker labor laws.  The agricultural industry is an example of this.

You think building a wall is going to stop it?  Show me a 50ft wall and I'll show you a 51ft ladder.  Or do you think the idiotic drivel spewed by idiots like Xargos is the solution?

For I 50ft wall I think you would need two 51ft ladders or 1 51ft ladder and a 55ft rope with a brick at the end.

I don't know much about Mexico but I have been there, but I don't know why so many are poor. Does Mexico have a poor economy, do they lack in agriculture production, is the government lazy, or do they not have any important resources that could improve the lives of the people of Mexico? I think America should increase aid and buisness to Mexico. When I went there everyone was nice and always smiling. I went to the town of China and there may be alot of shacks and old homes, but the people there have some nice cars and some nice clothing. I know Americans help in there, but these are no more than church groups going down there to build a church or homes for a poor village. Nothing wrong with that, but we need to get to the problem of Mexico and help them out. They love there country, but for some reason they are just not making enough money to want to live there.

The problem is the mexican government is more corrupt then ours.  The more we help them the longer that corrupt government stays in power.  If we were to completely cut off the border and aid, the mexican government would get overthrown by its people.  But Big Business in the United States would never want that to happen.

if you let every "honest, hard working person" in the world that wanted to come to the USA come here soon there would be 3 billion people living here, better make room, it's going to get crowded.

think of all the cheap labor.

I am pretty ticked over 30 MILLION parasitic trespassers myself...

the solution is to refuse to hire, feed, treat or house any illegal immigrant.  then we get the cattle cars and ship em back... anchor babies and all.

Ack-Ack,

Interesting proposals.  However, I'll counter with the one I prefer.

Shoot anyone who doesn't stand in like like my taiwan-born wife, her parents, my great great great grandfather, my great great great great grandmother, and everyone else who respected the laws of the country they were entering and attempting to become citizens of.

And learn to speak damned english.  Any resistance to that deserves deportation because it shows a deliberate insistance to avoid becoming American in their heart.

Post by: lazs2 on February 27, 2007, 08:48:21 AM
I think that ack ack is correct in what to do.   I have plenty of mexicans and people of mexican decent around me... hell.. my grandkids are half.   My girlfriend is 2nd generation American from mexico.

I like most of em that are around me... wouldn't be around em if I didn't..  the legal ones feel the same as me and ack ack..  they don't want to be tarred with the illegal brush.. they are the first to say "learn the language" and "get legal"

My girlfriend is much harsher about it than I am in fact.. she has a bigger stake in it.

The solution is to arrest the employers and cut off the democrat socialist benifiets for illegals... we have no obligation to feed, house, doctor and school  criminals..

Illegal aliens are, in the end.. simply criminals.   Their motives are such that I can feel some sympathy for most... who amoung us would not do almost anything to feed his family including living like a slave in America?

I sympathize but that does not change what needs to be done.   We need to stop the handouts and arrest the employers so that the slave labor is not tempted to come here and be exploited.   In the end, it will stop a lot of missery.

As ack ack said.. a guest worker program.. don't let non workers come tho... no kids for instance...  work for 6 months and go home with your money to help your family.

or...you could just vote for democrats and watch the problem grow.

Good points, but they do nothing to address the root of the problem. The root of the problem is the poverty in Mexico itself. If those people weren't so poor to begin with they wouldn't want to pack up and leave their homes.

*Honest* folks don't cross borders illegally......making themselves criminals in the process.
