WW2 sim with GPS?

The graphics do look amazingly similar to AH, though.

He does have a disclaimer that reads:

So I don't think he is breaking any laws

its seems very similar to those guys that sell empty XBox 360 boxes.  the guys doesnt even have the guts to actually put the name Aces High on his auction.

I'm thinking we could all bid on them and then not pay for them, everytime we see one... :t

looks like he already got one buyer on feb18 rghs662

checked this seller's feed back

this item wasn't his to sell, it belongs to hightech creations

Can we spam him with negative feedback/comments? :t

The guy fakes his own positive comments anyway.
Title: E-bay selling Aces High?
Post by: Airscrew on February 28, 2007, 08:43:52 AM
I reported him to Ebay.  I used the violation that he has copied pictures from another website.  there are others that probably apply also

Step 1: Confirm that your email is about "Someone copied text or pictures from another Web site or eBay user

every pic this guy has posted was copied from http://www.hitechcreations.com
I also thinks its just a bit sneaky to be selling an email address for a game thats free...

this seller has several auction entries for this game using the same pictures

thanks for taking a look at this

yea either that or alter his auctions with comments like the web address .

lets see what ebay says, they're usually pretty fast even though it says 24-48 hours, I've usually gotten a response in about 4 hours.

what have I taken into my hands?   I'm a registered member of Ebay on my third account since 2000.   If I see something that violates the rules for sellers or buyers I am acting within my rights as a member to notifiy Ebay when I suspect a violation.   In this case this guy is violating a rule that prohibts sellers from using photos from other websites or other ebay users.

Has it not occurred to ANY of you that this may in fact be part of the intricate marketing campaign to enroll new members!!!

i believe the mere fact that the seller is also marketing in maid uniforms and adult material strongly suggests that this person IS in fact a member of the AH community!!!

Please tread softly gentlemen, we do not want to lose inexpensive advertising!!!   This SELLER had already enrolled 3 more members than the advertising on the History Channel!

Hello Ken,

Thank you for informing us about the PC game "World War 2: Combat Flight
Simulator" (item 320085540874). I am happy to assist you as we take
reports of listing violations very seriously.

We will look into the item you have reported to us as quickly as
possible. eBay's Community Watch team reviews all member reports of
items, normally within 24 -36 hours.

We review all items that are reported to us and a determination is made
on whether the item is in breach of our policies. When a policy has been
breached we will take the appropriate action for that item.

There will be times when items will slip by because they have not been
reported to us. Please note that even if some sellers are currently in
breach of eBay guidelines this does not lessen the seriousness of the
consequences for those sellers whose auctions have been reported to us.

Thank you for helping us to keep eBay a safe and reputable place to buy
and sell.

Kind regards,

Jeffrey Denis

Question from bargainjuncion
 bargainjuncion( 279)

To E-bay Member RGHS662(12)

I have sent you a request to withraw the negative feedback as I don't think I deserve it.
I understand you are un-happy but I didn't made the fact the aplication is free in the domain hidden.
Anyway, it has happened already but what can I say than I'm sorry you feel bad.
Please co-operate and accept the mutual removal of the negative feedback.
Please for the love of God have a heart!

I won't even sell it again. I never thought it that way, I just thought people will be glad to get such information cause I bought it for £14.99 from someone and was very happy.
I'll be very happy if you could do me a favour and retract the feedback. Please.....
Like I said, I'm sorry

Quote from RGH662- I've been a member of AH years ago, migrated from "Air Warriors" w/ the 490th "Battlin Bulldogs"  I never thought about the pics posted on that e-bay item to be AH II, Heck I thought I was bidding a beta version of a sim that I've never seen before because I think I have just about every flight sim out since the 1st Microsoft flight simulator.
But to satisfy Your suspicions I started this thread to see if I can keep this guy from suckering others into selling what I could have downloaded Myself! as we used to say in the combat flight sims "S" all & happy hunting

RGH, I would leave the negative feedback, he deserves it.  What he was doing was underhanded and sneaky and he knew it.   He did it to at least 15 people before he got you.   His little "I wont even sell it again" is only because he got caught and the auctions were removed.  I would even bet he's probably gotten some sort of notice from HTC about it.   and it probably wasnt the first time either if you notice how he changed his auctions in November and dropped the bit about shipping a CD.   I would have been suspisious because he never mentions the name of the game.
If he was only interested in "spreading the word" he could have listed it for a penny, but then there are better ways of doing that than using EBay.

I think its a good thing you said something other wise he would still be suckering people's money
