I'd like to see a system in place where squads would be assigned perks based on the squad stats... These perks could be distributed by the squad leader to his squadmates as rewards, or as motivation. For instance, a squad C.O. could say to his men "There are 10 fighter perks to the first one of you schmoes to drop that Vehicle Hanger..." or "In the squad race this week, first place gets 20 perks, second place gets 10..."
The C.O. could specify the amount (from whatever is available to the squad) and the player to issue those perks to. Perhaps a DOT command, so no new interface is required?
This would not only give squad leaders a way to give their guys a useful reward, but it would also help to motivate people to join squads and improve that aspect of the community.
I would hope that the logic to create a system like this would be very similar to the existing perk logic, and hopefully not a massive development task.
Thanks
Oh, and please fix the squad MOTD.

I have never found myself lacking for perks . . .
Besides, Moil already gives us extra cookies if we do a good job. :D
He also cuts our pay if we miss squad night (the dirty rotten jerk).

Right, but it would be nice to be able to give an ACTUAL cookie...
Lots of us have plenty of perks... But perks are the only commodity in AH, that might possibly be made transferrable... Its not like we get a pay check.
It would be nice to be able to give a squaddie something that has meaning, not just another damn squad title, or some stoopid little graphic on the squad website.

Did I say they weren't actual cookies?
I've gained 10 pounds since joining the squad.

If The Squad leader could specify perks then people would say 300 perks for killing a hanger and bam the have enough for a 262.

The only way i see it working is if maybe a percentage of the perks for each sortie of each squad member goes into a squad pool.
Then the C.O. could hand out his cookies based upon how much is in the pool.
But i don't think it's worth the trouble coding.

You don't just have an infinite pile of perks to give away, the squad earns them as a percentage as suggested by Speed above.
If a C.O. wants to give 300 perks to some guy for blowing up a hanger, then thats what he gives, they belong to the squad. But the squad has to have them to give, so its not like its going to flood the sky with 262's as you're suggesting.
I'm not talking about making the C.O.'s perks distributable, I'm talking about a pool of points earned by the squad that the C.O. can distribute to the squad.
