If not what/how much will it take to get it to run it? Thank you for your time.

You willl probably not have much success with that machine. The processor is a little slow but the really big problems are the 256MB RAM and the Intel graphics adapter. You could add RAM and possibly drop a better graphics card in it. I don't personally know that machine and don't know what your options are for adding a graphics card. But in it's current configuration I'd say its pretty much a no go for AH. I'm sure others will comment and maybe have some other ideas.

Honestly, I dont think so. With a lot of tweaking, you might get it to run. OFFLINE with about 15 FPS in tower and 2-3 once you see a dron. 0-1 when its the B24 or the P38.
I dont think going online (besides chatting) would be worth it.

Would this one get any closer?

yep the 2nd one would be much better , It should run AH at the lower settings without issue. If you added some more ram and a better video card to the 2nd machine it would run AH at its med-higher settings . GL

Speaking of new systems.. is Windows XP still the preferred O/S? Is 32 bit or 64 bit preferred?
I'm looking at several systems myself. I've noticed that HP, Dell, Alienware and others still offer XP as an O/S. I suspect that is due to Vista's rep of not being "game friendly".
Any input out there?
Thanks,
Disco

If you see a Vista sticker on the PC...... RUN! hehe , XP 32 is still the preferred OS for gaming.
