Title: Aircraft handling doesn't seem right, please help.
Post by: brian on September 27, 2000, 09:27:00 AM
Everytime I turn or climb (even slightly) my plane will go into a dive.  It seems way too sensitive.  I have calibrated my joystick several times and even re-installed the software, but I'm still having problems.  Any suggestions?

I also have a delay when moving the guns on tanks.

Brian we need a little more info. System and joystick, need to know about those as much as possible.

I will be in training arena Thursday at about 7 pm CST if you don't get an answer before then.

Hi Mark,

My system:
400 celeron
Windows 98
Blackhawk Joystick (digital)
DirectX 6 or 7 (but not 7.0a)

I think that it may be the DirectX causing my issue.  I read (after posting my question) it somewhere in the FAQ section.  However, if you think that it may be something else, please let me know.

Thanks much.

One other thing that you may try, and I do suggest you install the latest Direct X, is to move the sliders for each of the different axis in the joystick panel to a low begining and slowly up to max. I can go over these with you if you care to meet me in the Training Arena tommorow evening.
