Oh I have to add my teenage auto class quote "Turbocharge that Bi***!"  Seriously though, that block looks pretty rusted out, but if it still runs, no biggie.  I need to check on the price of a hummer, I can't imagine that would be much cheaper, it's just spread out over a lot more time, and he'll know the ins and outs of his very own machine.
