HOWEVER, does he have the right to broadcast it on an open channel for everyone else to hear? I don't think so. If he wants to say it then do so WITHOUT hitting the Voice Transmit key and broadcasting it.

I don't want to hear someone with a poor vocabulary spewing off at the mouth.

Free speech, Hosts, etc don't matter. It's HTC's world, and they decide what they do or do not allow. As such, matters like this should always be taken up directly with them, as we have both racists, and normally developed people who read these forums, and discussions like this tend to get ugly quickly.

"Free" only refers to free of charge.

HTC has taken action in the past against individual, freeloaders for various reasons, including (to my knowledge) unacceptable behaviour.
For many people, H2H is the first contact with AH2, many MA folks first played H2H for extended periods of time. I would bet that HTC has a interest that the impression new folks get of this game is a rather positive one, even in H2H arenas.

What your friend is actually using is called "Hate Speech" and does not fall under the jurisdiction of any Freedom of Speech act anywhere.

I understand constitutionally protected free speech but there are also "community standards". It's legal in most states to run around in public in nothing but your underwear but people, for the most part, don't do it because it dosn't conform to community standards.

Beyond that businesses have the right to deny service to anyone they choose. The guy in his underwear wouldn't get served in a "no shirt, no shoes, no service" establishment, even though he is totally within his legal rights to run around as he pleases (as long as certain "parts" are covered).

As previously mentioned, e-mail your complaint to hightech. It's up to them to decide what their community standards are and to enforce them.

To chance: Film/Screenshot and inform HTC (Skuzzy) privately, they will take action. Such things never belong on the board.

Those playing H2H are still held to the same TOS as we are. Just look at the free H2H forum and read about those H2H free loaders that have been banned. Enjoy.
