OK.. something has to be done about Animal.

I'm ok listening to people whine about aircraft on channel 1.  Whine about numbers on channel 1.  Whine about the HO that was ALL YOUR FAULT on channel 1.  Whine about how the 20mm on the N1K2 have better range than the .50's on a jug (LOL!).  Whine about nearly anything that anyone says or does in the arena.

What gets me is that in the middle of all of this.. Animal said a dirty word.

I say we not let this kind of obsenity ruin the high piched whining more suited for channel 1.  Basically, insult away... that doesn't really matter... what does matter is that children can read the constant insults and not have to get exposed to a bad word in between.

Maybe I can begin to see why the once great FDBs have been relegated to the FTPs.  Along the line someone decided that cursing was not fun in the arena, but incessant whining is.  The FTP's wings have been clipped.  Their fun spirit is no longer welcome for they are<were> too crude.

It's known as the "Dweeb/Hero" syndrome.

People think they will be the hero by calling out someone on saying a vulgarity or a series of vulgarities.

Then they turn right on around, and slam down the dweeb card on the table. Proclaiming for all to see that something must be done about this and that so that they won't get killed or so that it's more "historically correct" and they will continuously repeat themselves over and over and over until people can no longer take their uptight anal comments about something and remark on them about how rediciously two-faced they are, usually throwing in a vulgar word or two to insult this "type" of "person"..

And thus the vicious cycle of "Dweeb/Hero" commences. It's very easy to spot, and it's consistantly the same people.

It would be easy for them to play the Hero if they weren't such freaking whiney dweebs.

And yes, only my opinion matters.
