Title: P2P or keep making new accounts?
Post by: Kuball1 on March 07, 2007, 01:52:54 AM
Paying to play or keep making new accounts for free?

Whats the benefits of paying to play compared to just keep making new accounts.

you are not stealing?

get to keep your handle.  saves you making up email address'.

I doubt that there would be any squad willing to accept anyone who kept making free accounts to play - so if you wanted to fly with others then you would need to sign up.

After a while they will simply lock you out. You wont be able to make free accounts anymore. Just pay for it. Don't be a cheapskate.

Tell me of a flight sim that has less of an investment cost that this, has as many people playing at any time of the day or night, and is as much fun to play and socialize. I'm just looking for 1 answer, go ahead...

If so, what's the matter? Why do you want to keep playing it for free? I think if it's not worth less than .50 $ per day, it's not worth at all. Just quit playing, go stealing somewhere else, and leave us with our unvaluable fun.

I'm already paying 14$ almost for 3 games which are more 'fun' than this.

Not like doing what i said in the OP is wrong. I'll keep doing it until they decide to change it. All i was wondering is whats the benefit to change into a paying customer if the only thing im getting is to keep my score and clan i guess.

Wasn't someone looking for the definition of "Tard" the other day??? Well here it is.

I'd be willing to bet this guy is some punk kid who's parents never taught him the value of being a decent human being. To openly admit that he is going to continue to manipulate the game anyway he can so he doesn't have to pay is like hanging a sign around his neck saying "Look at me, I'm a thief and I don't care who knows it"

Well son if you are paying for 3 other games that are more fun than this one, go play them and stay the hell out of our game here, we don't want you around. 99% of the people here are honest and honorable folks that do NOT want to be accociated with someone like you.

What a tard.

F@#$ off you twit

i can't believe you just admitted to stealing game accounts, and then casually announced that you'd keep doing it because you don't like the price.

Benefit of paying? Gee I dunno...maybe compensation to those who have their' lives works tied up in Aces High? You're being provided a service. If you don't think the game is worth 50 cents a day, find another means of entertaining yourself. Several ideas come to mind.

I'll bet you are young.  In case no one else has told you this before what you are doing by making new "free accounts" is in fact stealing.  stealing is wrong.  if you don't feel you are getting value for your $14.95 then simply quit playing.

His post can be narrowed down to his IP (BBS Name).

He's  done already.  And I do hope his IP is written down somewhere at HTC so if this idiot decides to pay to play he is told to...........

You could probably find a cheap stake in your local vampire exterminator shop.

Gents, I gotta wonder about a troll here.

Unless I'm mistaken, each time you create a new game ID you also have to provide a credit card number or (?)bank account number -- and the server tracks these, so you cant use the same accounts more than once.

If he doesnt have an infinite supply of credit card accounts, he can't have an infinite line of 2 week handles.

You are mistaken, at least when I signed up in Nov '06 you weren't required to have a CC#.  It was only when you went paid you needed to pony up a number.

That was part of why I am here now.  If I had to give a CC# I wouldn't have done the trial.

This kid is probably about 12 years old, has two parents who are both professionals working 80 hr weeks. They had this kid late in life, and think they are doing him a favor by being his friend rather that his parents.

He will grow up without learning any coping skills, and think the world owes him a living.

you can tell by "clan", what kind of player he is.

BTW- By posting that you intend on creating new accounts to circumvent paying to play in the arenas, will most likely get your entire account banned and IP locked out.  Which will prevent you from playing at all, except offline with the drones.  And you call HTCs cheapskates.

This guy is stealing from the whole community by denying HTC of revenue.

No matter how small the amount it may be, the end effect is making HTC a tiny bit less profitable and that is detrimental to the health of a company that we all are relying on for our fun and recreation.

String him up!

So, what are you saying?  Somewhere there is a village missing their idiot?

Kuball1, what I think people are saying is there is more to the game than just playing it.  For me, it's the people.  Even though you will find some sphincters in the game avoid most of them by not tuning to 200.

For me, I am saving money.  Instead of going to the bar for drinks, I come home and play the game.  My bar tab used to be WAY more than $15 a night.  This is cheap entertainment.

If you aren't young, then you are immature.  Either way grow up.  You will find in life playing by the rules will get you more (ten fold) than what you get by cheating.
