Post by: 36Bravo on March 08, 2007, 02:52:03 PM: 3 days ago i played Aces High 2 and i kicked some serious but on the warships i downloaded the game 2 days before and i like it i'm gonna continue to play aces high for a while.

Hope you enjoy the game as much and for as long as I have. There are some really great people in this community. Play for a few months before allowing some of the more enthusiastic players to get you into a squad.
Some of the squads here are filled with some really great people, and some, well, just fly, watch, and then figure out how you fit in.

I will never forget my first moment playing AH, the base was being vulched so i figured i would take out one of those little gun truck things (found out later it was called an M16). Just sat watching in awe as people came in divebombing the base etc, couldnt believe that all of these planes were actually controlled by people.

I also remember the first time i used E to beat an opponent, before i played AH i had only played combat flight sim where the emphasis is on turning - i came here and continued that before i realised that you could use altitude to an advantage. I was in a Jug against a 190 i think, i must have started out with 5k advantage or something, came zooming down on him, missed, he followed and i roped him (i cant remember exactly but i wouldnt be surprised if i came over too early and HO'd him), i was elated.

Oh to be a noob again :)

I have more kills in a PT boat my first tour than in all fighters combined. Guess we all gotta start somewhere. :lol
