Title: problems with MS precision pro.
Post by: PropNut on October 01, 2000, 10:22:00 PM
I just reformatted and reloaded my computer...all seems to be fine except i noticed that my controls were eratic after reinstalling AH,,(I restored my settings folder so I could keep all original settings in AH) I noticed when i went to the moving graph utility in the joystick set-up that it works smooth up to about 3/4 travel then goes max output,I havent been able to adjust it out with the sliders etc...anyone else seen this ...and whats the fix.   Also does anyone get better results with the usb set-up?
thanks PropNut

Well, your results say it's not an AH problem, but either the stick or it's calibration in Windows.

Try re-calibrating the stick in Windows, and then test it in the Windows control panel to ensure it is working properly.  If everything is working great in windows, then go check it in AH.  Make sure your AH setup and scalings work the way you expect.

USB is worth a try.  Some folks report pauses and delays with USB control devices, but my machine works very well with both USB mouse and stick.

Make sure POLL with Interrupts enabled is UNCHECKED in controller properties in windows.
