Title: Insta roll over
Post by: Keiler on March 09, 2007, 03:10:23 PM
I had some really weird behavior of flight mechanics last wednesday.
Most planes I tried to up off- or online just VIOLENTLY, and I mean violently rolled over and then exploded. The only drive I could get on the runway without insta-death was the 109. As soon as I touched throttle (and I mean, moved it forward a friction of an inch) it would do the same.
I double checked, it had nothing to do with joystick calibration. All control surfaces where smoothly working. Input sliders in cal setup where moving as expected as well.
I have an atholn 64 3000+, radeon 1950, asus a8v deluxe mobo, win XP pro.

My suspicion is that my ooold, never used internet exploder (no typo) causes the flight-algorhythms to go haywire. All worked fine until I unintentionally fired up the web-help from the clipboard. After that all was screwed up as described.

I tried reloading the game, to no avail. I already kissed my AH2 night good bye...

After a complete reboot solved it.

Thanks a big bunch to Schatzi for trying to help me out (Silat, you're included for looking at the problem too!), as well as to my squad-mate roscoeh1 who was in the training arena to that time as well. :aok

Best regards,

Matt

P.S.
I have it all on film, should I send it over to support?
