Im having hard Lockuips , only way to fix is to reset the machine. Usually happens when I invoke a coomand such as bailing out or exiting AC. Once today on the refuel station.

I deleted the video.cfg file, no change, put it back and I got the windows message asking If I would like to replace this file with this older one, the one i deleted. hmmmm

Pls advise--in this current state the game has forced me to lose 2 each 4 kill sorties! I hate that! Dont happen alot (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

OK- Here is what i have tried.

1) DL'ed latest drivers for video and sound cards, which are DV 550, and sound blaster live.

2) Uninstalled and and reinstalled AH.

3) I am running in 800x600x32bit

4) DL'ed and installed directx 7.0a

5) I have a sony trinitron moniter, 17" running at a refresh rate of 85 hrz.

These lockup didn't start happening till very recently, last 3 days.  And they happen in all modes of play; H2H, online, films, offline.

Please someone help.

So you were running your current version without any problems until 3 days ago?  Did you make any hardware or software changes recently?  Overclocking or anything?  Have you run a virus scan recently?

Pyro, thanks for the response, I know you guys (and Girls) have had a bad week.

Yes, i have run the most recent version without a glitch until just recently.

The only thing that has changed is the image I use on my desktop.

I did a full virus scan twice this week--I use Norton.

Negative, the only time I have been in my PC's Bios mode was when I had trouble and  a Micron customer service rep was helping me 9 months ago.

It seems that I get to a certain spot in one particular film--the one Hangtime filmed in his duel with Hristo. 3rd fight right before the merge my PC locks up. Also while in gameplay It tends to lockup when i attempt to exit my AC or bail out on the runway, however it has happened while in flight twice that I remember.

yesterday i flew for about an hour and didnt have a lockup.

ammo my mate airguard just started having the same damn problem with the hardlockups too .

He has reinstalled too . Just to let you all know u ain't alone .

Sure Pyro-- But before I do, I have not had a lockup in 3 days, or 3.5 hours (best guess) of arena play.
