uhhh.... well if that doesnt just take the cake.
translation. look at what those buttholes are doing.

They are the only company that can do the job! They would'nt be avoiding paying taxes on all that tax money they recieve now would they?
-
A tax break is what I'm thinking too, which in itself isn't a sinister plot.
Contractors are tax-free up to a certain dollar amount every year while working in theater, but I don't know about the companies that hire them. Anyone?
-
why don't you compete against them RPM?
-
No self respecting free marketer or conservative would support the notion of giving any company a no-bid government contract.
Only kool aid sucking GOP lackeys do.

Clinton did. He hired them (without bid) for Cosovo and that area after that war. OH! never mind, it was ok when he did it.

Didn't say or imply that. Clinton or Bush, Haliburton or P&G, governments handing out no bid contracts is just repulsive to me. I don't blame Haliburton for doing whats in their best interests, I blame the government busybodies spending other peoples money carelessly.

Follow the money.

I don't think we should be letting foreign companies do vital defense work.
-
I suppose you could consider it outsourcing.
It definitely would put a bit of a binder on doing the nuke them till they glow straategy since we'd have so much $ tied up there.
On the other hand if Haliburton's operation gets nationalized they could just declare war on them for us...... :p

No, you all just went into knee jerk "OMG HES DOESNT SAPPART TEH PRESIDENT SO HE MUST BE A LIB DEM COMMUNIST" mode.
Not that I'm not used to it mind you.
I made a point to differentiate between conservatives and GOP/BUSH kool-aid drinkers, and made no reference at all to the Democratic Party or President Clinton. Read it all again, where did I say it was 'ok' when the Democrats did it?

You didn't say it was ok when they did it; you said they didn't do it. Only kool-aid sucking GOP lackeys do it. Right?
-
i'd weep, but what good would it do?
:(
-
God forbid someone in the oil industry working where the oil is.
I mean c'mon? What happened to the days of the sand harvesters based out of Antarctica? Or the fishermen of the Mojave Desert?
Geeze, what is this world coming to?
-
government contractors in charge of national security related matters pulling out of the country that feeds them and shipping our jobs and tax monies elsewhere?
that would be my guess.

Yes, because we've been SO nice to halliburton, blaming them for every single thing that happened, including the death of mother theresa.

you must have rubber arms to reach that far.
