Title: vidio problems

this is getting very irritating i just got a ati radeon vidio card to play the game it is  a agp 4x/8x card my mob is set to 4x but now it shuts the screan off very so often
it is a amd mob 1.8 but i am running just 256 mb ram is this the prob would more ram help the issue i am looking into more ram but low on the funds

Does it shut off the screen while the computer is being used?  or while the computer is sitting at idle?

Check the power management option in control panel.. make sure you set "Turn off monitor" to "never".  See what that does for you

My old comp had 256 RAM and I was running AH fine with 256 textures and everything at the bare minimum and would pull out strong 55 FR.

it would shut off while it was being used
it ran 45 to 65 fps but now i have a os prob and it went to the shop to be rebuilt
