Title: Problems starting game

I get two messages when I double click icon

1st
a device attached to the system is not functioning

2nd
Aceshigh.exe file is linked to missing export DDRAW.DLL :DirectdrawcreateEx.

any help would be great. thank you randy  :(   :confused:

First, do you have a sound and video card in your system?

Next, what version of Direct X are you running?  AH REQUIRES at least Direct X 7a, but 8a would be better (required for the AH voice program in testing.)  The newest DX available is 8.1 and would be at www.microsoft.com/directx/ (http://www.microsoft.com/directx/)

If that doesn't work, you probably got a bad download of AH.  I'd try it again.
