What is the Queen of all Hanger Queens? I say:

 D3A
 The IID
-
The B5N2. Smallest combined value of kills & deaths in MA apart from Ar 234.
People usually seem to prefer the TBM.

(Hurri IID has almost as many kills as the Spit XIV...)

 May be in your hanger.
But I up the bugger on almost a nightly basis.
 Plinking tanks is very addictive.
So addictive I become impatient and fly into trees.
 :D

				Certainly not the D3a1 val!

B5n yes, its low, its slow, it has almost no guns, and it doesn't carry much.
-
Agree, B5N, it's used so few that I totally forget we have it in game! :D

Don't really see too many IIDs, though. A lot of those kills may be against GVs, as I think the D REALLY loses a lot due to the weight of those guns (she just doesn't maneuver like the insta-HOing IIC).

Actually, haven't really seen any jeeps lately since the newness wore off. F4F-4 pops up only occasionally in LW. Ran into a formation of Bostons last night, the first time in months I'd seen any up. Rarely see the C.202, most C2s in LW are the aught-5.

Ummm cuz thats what the D is for.:D
AP rounds are for tanks not AC.
Why would you bring a knife to a gun fight?

By least combined kills and deaths over the past 3 months (not because I raced out to try to prove you wrong Lusche but it's how I track my own stats so I had it handy), as a fighter it's the Bf 109E-4.  Here's the bottom of that list (under 10,000 combined kills and deaths).  It would be hard to call some ofthese hanger queens though.

 Model   Kills   Deaths   K/(D+1)
 Hurricane Mk IID   950   2296   0.4136
 Chute   3203   0   3203
 Boston III   287   2704   0.1061
 Bf 110C-4b   982   1849   0.5308
 Spitfire Mk XIV   1469   1335   1.0996
 P-40B   496   2130   0.2328
 Ju 87D-3   699   1880   0.3716
 SBD-5   509   2114   0.2407
 Me 163B   2289   379   6.0237
 Gunner   1435   1075   1.3336
 C-202   583   1174   0.4962
 Bf 109E-4   658   1251   0.5256
 B5N2   334   1194   0.2795
 D3A1   268   1009   0.2653
 Ar 234   223   532   0.4184

Out of these I regularily, although lightly, fly the Hurri IID, Ju 87D-3, Me 163B and Ar 234... oh... and the Chute.

Hehe, I just took a look at current tour stats, I only track my own stats over time, didn't bother to keep total arena stats yet...

I find it a bit surprising that the B5N seems to get even more use than the D3A, as the Val is a nice little turnfighter (outturn zeros and make everyone else auger ;) )

A certain squady of mine uses the B5N exclusively for anti GV.
Good climb and center slung bombs make for a great combo.

Yep, that's why I fly it so often :)
-
No forward firing guns on the B5N2.. makes it kinda tough to get kills.

-
I see NONE of you have ever been to Candy Mountain!

-
I'm like the only person i ever ever ever see in a b5n, i see the IID sometimes but not often,

-
				The Yak-3.

I'd never take a IID away from an anti-GV  field-support role, but i've never used it. maybe i should. I always use the Yak9T for the no-ord, gv porker situations.

Very fun watching the turret come off a tiger (even better when you look at your ammo counter when you pull out from the kill and see  Can [ 1 ]  )

 :lol

I would like to see a film of that. I have never seen an Yak9-T succesfully attacking a tiger. Oh, I have seen it getting the credit  for the kill, but the real work was done by friendly GVs. And in my opinion a 37mm HE round should not hurt a Tiger anyway...

I have used the IID messing about in the DA a2a... you can pull of some amazing long range shots.  I tapped fire from over 1k not expecting to hit and... BAM!

It really is a lot of fun.  So fun in fact that i might try it a2a in the MA :)

Same here, film please. The only damage HE should do is de-track or take out the the commander's position gun.

Other than that you might as well lob pingpong balls at it.

 Yep they won't insta-kill a tiger.

The 110C is one of the best german turnfighters in AH. Two in a team can bring nice suprises to a SpitV or other mid war planes. In 1940 its realy good. I prefer it over the 109E, cause the better ammoload and MUCH better E-management. But you need to use 25% or 50% fuel.

Otherwise i dont see the G6 very often. Without the 30mm the G2 is the logical choise.

 Greetings,

 Knegel

Too bad we don't have a realistic Bf110 for the BoB.

I'd have to say Silat is the Queen of all Hangar Queens :D

what happened to the king? :D

				They eat their mates.

i beg to differ i love the d3a and a few guys fly it.
as for the hurri IID its Vs GV's so you never see it above 2k

Been taking Bostons to CV hunting lately. Well, they have a light bombload, but good ROC and very nice speed add up, and I made many hits! Takes half the time of a heavy bomber to get to target, bomb at 300 mph! Make 2 missions instead of one.
 Bostons are cool!
