Post by: DaChamp687 on March 18, 2007, 01:28:31 AM
I was playin and tryed some new planes one of the ones I was most interested in was the FM2. Heres a list of the planes I tried.

-FM2
-P51's
-P38L,J
-Yak's

I found I liked the FM2 the best it seems to have good climbing and pretty good turning and some what bad roll rate.

I dont see to many people fly these. Anyone who regularly flys this plane. Also any clips of it in action would be nice to watch.

The best plane in game is the Hurri 1, I've no idea why it isn't perked.

fm2 is great fun to fly, but it is one of the slowest planes in the set, which is why it is not popular. If I'm not mistaken, even zekes will pull away from it.

The only way to catch your pray is to come high and dive on un-suspecting victims, or hunt slow opponents after they lost their speed in a fight with someone else. There's also the occasional zeke or hurri 1 that are in the same league. If someone is suicidal enough to turn with you, that's another option.

Technically, it is not even an early war plane so even in scenarios it will be out of its league.

Too many times, bloody Neko3 has caught my CV-rat stomping 190 A8 on the deck.

That blows my mind. haha

I'd feel bad if he wasn't a good stick.

He's ruined too many 8+ kill sorties :rofl

I've taken it up into a a couple furballs; its speed requires too much effort to get into position for it to be very fun.

The FM2 is highly underrated and is one of the best turnfighters/furballers out there.  4 .50's pack plenty of punch and it will take direct hits and just shed them off.

Landing 4-6 kills in one is relatively easy as long as there are enough targets around but it is slow so you've got to take it into the thick of it, which you can do with little fear.
