aces high is very fun, but just to see what else is out there, does anyone know of other FREE flight sims?

And it's cheap to buy if you like it, and has better physics than MSFS.

Flightgear is free and open source.

They offer an installable version, or you can try the bootable live-cd version. Burn the ISO to a CD and try it without installing anything on your computer.

The experience is much like FS9, and they offer add-on aircraft and world-wide add-on scenery.

Been playing this little doosey (http://homepage3.nifty.com/ysflight/frmindexe.html) for a couple weeks on an older laptop. 6.5 meg download and you can even play online... though you'll have to find someone like me who is playing it too.
