Ok We've had or seen flying PT boats and RV8s

Il-2 with a pair of TF-34s and a GAU-8 carrying 1,300 rounds of combat mix in each wing.  What's not to like?  Wouldn't even really need to do a lot of remodeling.

Might need a whine filter...

Maximizing Opportunities...

Why build wierd models like RV8s and other similar
subjects when something more enduring can be made.

The way I see it, HTC would be better served if they
use their time modeling a subject for the CON that can
be used on future projects.

For example, rather than making a flying rocking chair
armed with sidewinders, why not model an F-86 Sabre jet?

Then next year do an F9F, the next year a MiG-15...before
you know it you'll have a stable of Korean war aircraft
that can be used in another arena.  Wouldn't this attract
more subscribers interested in other periods besides WW2?

Anyway, if it were me, I would build models for the CON that can
be used down the road for other uses rather than a one-time
use at the CON.  That would take scarce modeling time
and turn it into an investment for the future and not waste it
on a disposable subject.  Why waste the time?...invest it!

Waffle said there is a bug with those darn windmills. They get a large rpm and start flying around the place. Think we just found out what the new weapon is!
