Title: Allocating commands to joystick
Post by: Macka- on March 22, 2007, 07:54:11 AM
Newbie here. How do I allocate keyboard commands eg like 'Lower flaps' etc to a button on my joystick? I can't work it out. I've spent hours in the Map Controllers section, but no joy. :(

You can find a lot more information about game setup, gameplay and flying on our Trainer Corps Homepage (http://trainers.hitechcreations.com). Welcome to Aces High Macka!

Macka - Follow the top link Schatzi posted.

I would suggest you try mapping just flaps up and flaps down to start with. Then try it on an aircraft just sitting on the runway! End the flight if you want to return to the mapping.

Any mapping you do while you are in an aircraft will not take effect until your NEXT flight. That is, changes made mid flight do not have any effect during that flight.

Then when you know you are mapping the buttons correctly do the rest. Best of all print the instructions off and take your time to set the flaps. The chances are, you have been too keen and missed doing something.
