That's not an A-8...
-
The 190G series had the double wing DTs. Supposedly the wing was the same as the A8s but the plumbing wasn't connected or some such detail.
Note that the G series has no MGs under the cowling.
P.S. the G-3 is closer to an A-5 than it is an A-8. That image is closer to an A-5 than an A-8, so I'm guessing it's a G-3.
-
I was also reading in a book. The specs of a A8, that it had 2 DTs...It was accurate too.

Yum... id like this:
"The G-3 had two primary Rüstsätze kits. The R1 replaced the V.Fw. Trg racks with WB 151/20 cannon pods. This gave the G-3/R1 a total of 6 20 mm cannons. When fitted with the R1 kit, the G model's addition armor was typically not used, and the PKS11 removed. The G-3/R1 was used in both ground strafing and anti-bomber roles."
-
That's incorrect. The G-3 should never used the R1. It could probably hold it, as the 190G was based off the 190A5 wing. It was for A5s, A6s, and A8s. 190G models were designed for long-range bomber duties (hence the drop tanks).
I would very much love the R1 kit, and have asked for it for a while now.
The 190a5 skin for JG11 that I made is from a pilot named Hondt. [Edit: White tail, red stripe heading toward nose] It's supposed to have the R1 kit (6x20mm total), but it's not modeled in this game. (Yet?)

the stuff i had above was taken from wikipedia btw.... i have no clue

Supposedly it slowed ya down a bit, and weighed ya down a lot, but man-oh-man... can you IMAGINE snapshots on that thing??????
