If anybody has HP printers and scanners, etc. go the their website for vista drivers, they just uped some and I got one for my psc1410v
-
Thanks. I just went and got the new drivers/software for one of mine.

Im so glad my HP Photosmart 3310 is natively supported by Vista and I dont need HP printer software. HP printers are quite good but software really sux. Size is usually several hundred MBs and they have lots of software running in backround...

The printer I spoke of was also natively supported in Vista but I was missing the utilities that you can only get with the full package from HP. If you don't want all the other stuff running at startup just uncheck it in msconfig. The drivers straight from HP are generally better drivers too.

Same here, mine would print and I used the "acquire image from scanner" to get scans to work, but it still wasn't right till I got the driver.

Vista is more fun than you think, its just gonna be a while before the world catches up, just like when xp first came out
