Guess what colors this JG2/Kroat 109g-2 was painted with?

They probably received a pre-painted 109 from the LW, and painted their own nose and theater band on top.

I'd got with standard 1942 colors of ... hrm...


Maybe 82 and 83 over 76, or

82 and 83 over 84....

The mottling looks like it has a green tint. It's hard to tell because the colors are way off on the profile. I'd guess it was lichtgrun/dunkelgrun over lichblau or something like that.

Look to contemporary 109s for similar paint schemes, and that will help you out a lot.

EDIT: Possibly it's grey and green uppers with lichtblau unders. Some of the mottling looks like grey, almost..

That profile just doesn't look "right" to me, if I were you Croduh, I'd stick with the more likely RLM-grey scheme.
