(http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif) I've just downloaded patch 5, but it won't open?! Anyone had the same expirience??

No problems here Jay-Jay, you might try rebooting the computer and trying again. That helps sometimes.

It is also possible that the copy of the patch you downloaded became corrupted somehow during the process. Try deleting the one you have and downloading it fresh and see what happens.

Hi Jay-Jay,
No Problems here either, Do you get anywhere at all (Opening screen etc) or do you not even get that far? Do you run ZoneAlarm? (AH needs to be re authorised to access the internet each time there is a new release).

Thanks for your quick replies!
And I tried it all; Rebooting, deletion and downloading a fresh, new one, (Even downloaded the patch from the Downloads page, and not via the auto update)and made myself absolutely sure that ZoneAlarm had allowed AH to acces the net.
But still, when initializing, the update only reached 10% - and I got the message "models.res could not be opend"
And my respond to that had to be "OK". And then, nothing. It aborted the instalation.
Strange, I can't see what's wrong?? Does any of you have a good idea?
Kindest Regards
Jay-Jay

At this point I would check my Aces High folders and make sure none of them are marked "read only". Run Scandisk on that drive, reboot and if you still have the problem you could save your "Settings" folder and "Sounds" and "Sights" folders if you have anything special in them. Remove the program then download the full install and reinstall the whole thing.
Don't really know what's happening to your system.

Try emptying your C:\windows\temp folder.
