Title: Update to 3 Ring Circus
Post by: Nefarious on March 25, 2007, 10:04:29 PM
Due to flight times and the T+60 Rule for Attack and Defense, i have decided that the Allied Bombers at A6 and A8 can roll anytime after T-25.

This means if your tasked to fly bombers your CIC may have you show up early.

Allied Bombers may not leave England (Feet Wet) until T+0.

Any Questions?

doesn't affect us, but with squadies showin up late, as I believe happens in most squads could pose a problem.

Just a thought here but have you considered doing an air start for the buffs? If time and distance is that critical that could help the situation and avoid people missing the frame since everyone would start at the same time.

It depends if this terrain has airstarts or not, as it's a function of the terrain. I can't get in to look at the description, so which terrain is it?

Oh OK. I didn't know that was a terrain function. I thought it might have been like an arena or CM option. Either way was just an idea that occured to me and thought it could be looked into.

Well, I flew to Rouen (Main Target) in a fully loaded B17 Formation from A8.

I flew a pattern that allowed me to climb to 21K and attack the City from the North.
It took me about 55 Minutes. Unfortunately there are no Air Starts on the BOB04 Terrain.

25 Minutes will allow the Bombers to reach the Altitude CAP of 23K.
