"Yes... Pointy end goes into the other guy..."

Best bet is to get together with a trainer. AH has a Trainer Corps of sorts, and these people will get together with you in the TA or DA and help you out.

I've never heard of these. Do you mean TnB, BnZ? I would say that the best practice initially is to fly offline, practice manuerving around a drone while keeping it in sight at all times.

Um, well, if you happen to have canards and vectored thrust, may I suggest the summersault? As can be sighted in a Sukhoi Su-35...

I tried a Lomcevak in a fight with Bossk the other day.  I don't recommend it.

Sart here under the heading, Fighter Tactics:

http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/

After that go to the Help and Training Forum and scroll through the posts.  Virtually every ACM has been discussed there in great detail and there are often films.

After that if you have further questions post them in that forum.

Is anyone else suddenly picturing a little box with Peppy Hare's face popping up on the screen?

"Try a somersault!!"

You shoot 200 rounds. Run away like you are scared. He focuses on another person. You come in and BAM.

Which is the favored tactic of La "pilots."

I enjoy sticking 200 or less on someone's 6 and predicting their moves before they do them.   I enjoy the Lag Pursuit, to ME, that is it.   I have found myself so entranced with "shadowing moves" that I don't fire on them.

But the Lag Pursuit is my specialty.

I was refering to that video where the Su-35 was at an airshow demonstration, and was doing stall maneuvers. He did like 3 controled summersaults, some real low speed turns... it was quite thouroughly amazing! The only link I can find to it though is a Military.com video, and you have to have an account there to watch videos.
