Title: Installing MSFS X Deluxe
Post by: cav58d on March 28, 2007, 02:10:12 PM
So I just went out and purchased MSFS X Deluxe Edition.  My computer has the necessary requirements to run the program, however, when I insert disk 1 (or two for that matter) nothing happens.  No auto install.  So I go into run and run D: drive and it says please install disk?

Anyone have any ideas whats going on and what I can do?

You will find many modern games are shipping on DVD now, due to the enormous amount of data they come with.

Just get a DVDrom,  depending were you live you can pick up an OEM one for about $15-20, plays DVD's and cd's .  I replaced my cd burner and CDrom with a DVD burner and DVDrom for about $50 total

I saw one as high as $40 a few days ago when I bought one for $21.32 (tax included)
