Bodhi has a few

I have purchased a couple from AIKEN'S AIRPLANES (http://www.aikensairplanes.com:80/)

Bodhi, you got a website to order/view from?

Nope, sorry Ripsnort.  I used to be a part time manufacturers rep for the importer on the Armour Collection and have a crapload of the damn things left over after the sale to Franklin Mint.

Anywho, I have quite a few of several different types in stock.

P-38's "Jandina IV" part of a limited run of 1500
F6F's (4 different)
FW190's 5 different
109's 2 different
F-14's Ghostriders scheme
Me262's (3 or 4 different schemes)

All are 1/48th scale diecast and quite well done.  Let me know what you are interested in, and I can post pics tomorrow or today if you are quick....

What 109's do you have and do they have any moving or removable parts?

The 1:48 scale has about a 8 inch wingspan on the 109 right?

Jeff I have the first 109 he posted a pic of, and a 262.

they are HIGH quality, no "removable" parts, all fixed and well built.

Like he said the company was sold to the franklin mint, so think mint quality replicas.

Idea on size? my 109 wingspan is about the same as my stretched hand... the 262 about 3" wider. the 262 must weigh 3 lbs at least, the 109 about 1/2 that.

if you have the money I'd HIGHLY recommend one of these, and I can assure you Bodhi is class act to deal with, there were some troubles with my first order as when he checked it prior to shipping it was "damaged" and he offered my money back, but I just chose a different 109.

all items were received in a very short time, in solid packaging, and perfect.

He must have sold 20+ to AH members in the past year, on the last time these were listed here, I have heard nothing but good things from everyone else involved too.

Got a 262, 109 and 38 from Bodhi to add to my B-25, F6f, Spit 5, P-47, F-86, UH-1 and Tornado. Smooth and fast transaction from this seller :) you see how tiny the Spit and 109 are in comparison to the big american iron.

That's what I bought from him a year or two ago.  "Marge" P-38 and Flatley's F6F.  Before this I had mainly collected 1/72 diecast from Corgi, Dragon, etc.  I darn near got a hernia picking up the Hellcat for the 1st time.!

The first thing I noticed and liked was the weight, tells you it's good quality from the start. I opened the box on the Hellcat to look at it better and nearly had my heart stop when my daughter all of a sudden reached over and spun the prop. Don't get me wrong, I'm far from selfish with my stuff. I even let her play with my tool set (sockets and wrenchs mainly) providing I'm there to insure her safety. But this is my new toy that's not to be played with.

Do you still have Flatley's F6F?

I have actually talked to him once a year for last 3 years.  He comes and speaks at a breakfast during our Chiefs initiation every year here in Charleston.  He has told some good stories about his time in....although I do prefer the WW2 sub vet that speaks...unbelievable what it was like on a sub back then.

Received my fifth plane from Bodhi today, this one is a Bf 109F.  Never really comprehended how much smaller the 109's where compared to the 38's.

If your thinking about getting diecast models, you should check with Bodhi first.  I am very pleased with his product and service.

Any 4th FG Ponies, or 71 RAF Eagle Squadron Spits?

I usually go for the smaller scale models for my desk shelf...  1:72 is pushing the limit for the space I have, but the quality shown here is superior, and the price...?   Is a steal if what the customers are saying is true.  This based on the places I frequent most, BAD CAT AVIATION MODELS (http://badcataviation.com/igacfi.html) and 21st Century Models (http://www.21stcenturytoys.com/)
