Well in that case if it's not US than I have to go with the Sepecat Jaguar GR3. I've always liked that plane. Small, quick, packs a good payload, and just looks kinda cool.

Actually, question about the tornado: What is that pod on the outside pylon? Ive seen it several places, and im curious as to what it is. Also, that tube under the cockpit on the starboard (right) side?

Think it is a BOZ-101 Chaff/Flare dispenser.

The tube under the cokpit is the air refueling probe. It swings up and out at about a 45 degree angle. The Brits use the hose and drouge method for air to air refueling just like the US Navy does.

Thanks. One thing ive noticed is that normally there is one object under the left wing outside pylon, and a different under the right. You said the right is a chaff, any idea what the left side is?

One looks distinctly like a bomb, but I dont think the weight of a Chaff/Flare dispenser would balance out a bomb succesfully, and when the bomb goes bye-bye, then wouldnt the dispenser destabalise things?

Not sure what the exact name is, but i think it is very likely an ECM Pod.
BTW, hows this for firepower - carrying two Storm Shadow cruise missiles on the centreline.

That's NOT an F-35. That is an F-22 Raptor and it is not capable of vertical takeoff and landing.
This is the F-35
