I know this wuz issue a while back, but couldn't find anything handy:
When I window out (alt-tab or hitting pesky windows key) and come back, my display is screwed. clipboard unreadable, no cursor and most bizarre, the plane is invisible.
from outside view looks like an x-ray. space angel's dogfiter.
runnin windows xp, pentium rig, geforce 3 vid.

OK OK so i found the thread.
Ran the Nvidia patch for XP refresh bug.
Now I can window in/out (climbin in buff as I type this!), plane and clipboard look Ok when I come back, land still looks 'chunky'.
Will try with palettized textures stuff off.
Oh yeah, picked up 10 fps when refresh increased.
