Just something I thought of in a random moment of insight...

How many people in a Mozzie or A-20 have tried to pickle off bombs, only to find they had the internal set selected?

Well, I came up with a seemingly simple idea: The bomb-bay light. Yeah, I know, it's already there. But what if it, say, lit up red when you had internal ord selected and the doors shut?

Just a thought.

Yep, been there before.  I know some people use a different size bomb, say 250 for external and 500 for internal so they know the difference.  You have a good idea there though.

Seems simple enough to a code-ignorant wrench monkey like me. Wouldnt need to change any aircraft artwork either, beyond adding a red state for the light graphic.

I agree. In the meantime though, press backspace as soon as you launch. Your first bombs are the internal and second are external. Just for those of you who have yet to notice. But yes, I think that is an outstanding idea!

Actually, that is not consistant between the Mosquito, A-20G and Il-2.  In some cases the first bombs are internal and in some cases they are external.

It's been brought up many times before.

My suggestion was to change the text. Say you have an A20G with 4x 500lb bombs, 2 internal 2 external (just making up numbers here, roll with it).

What I suggest is renaming the bombs. Instead of having "50" and "50" listed in the ammo counter, I'd like to have "50I" and "50E" listed. I for Internal, E for External.

B50i   B50e......       excellent idea if ya only knew how many time I had to setup for a second run cuz I forgot to open doors and internals were selected.......:o :o :o

 BTW a request to join without asking first is just plain ignorant.
