Thought you might enjoy these. Nothing real wild yet, I'm still getting used to the FJ Cruisers capabilities. We joined the South Sound Cruiser Club, and we've been having a blast with our new Tonka Toy. This was shot over this past week-end at Tahuya on the Hood Canal peninsula.
My rig from the lens of others:

And, if you have the bandwidth, a couple short videos, the first link is from the perspective of one of my navigators (Gordon) and the second is a club members video:

Sold it to a private party, and bought this. The kids got bigger and I needed a different hobby. :)
I had a 1976 Scout I used to trash on the trails...this rig reminds me alot of the Scout. :aok

Thanks. Don't worry, its a designated ORV park.

Awesome Ripsnort! I'm in a Soldiers of Fortune Off-Road (SoFO) in Michigan. Back in January we hosted "SnoFari" and it should be a 50-60 rig event next year. I also took over the Recording Secretary position in the Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association. We're tied in with United Four Wheel Drive Association. United is the only Non-Profit org. that deals SOLELY with Full Size Off Road Vehicles (no bikes, sleds, or quads).
Maybe one of these days I can bring the CJ7 out your way and we can have some fun on the two tracks!

Clearly Photoshopped...your vehicle remains clean!! ;)

Yeah, fresh rain the night before, the water was dilluted so the mud wasn't that great. :(
K2, anytime you make it out West you have a place to lodge. Evan's ORV park is just down the road, you'd love it there! :aok
Great work with the club! I've never joined a 4x4 club until I joined two recently (TLCA and South Sound Cruisers.) Been fun so far, and very organized and "environmentally sound" clubs (they do alot of trail repair, clean up, etc.)

I'll post some pics of my CJ7 tonight LePaul. I blew through a mudhole by mistake (forgetting I was not in a fuel injected vehicle) and had mud everywhere. Barely any stuck to the paint. It pissed me off because I enjoy mud on the CJ for a time, before I wash it.
I can also post some pics of the thrown Connecting Rod in my #5 cylinder. I pulled my AMC 304, and will be spending just $200 on a complete AMC 304 that only puffs on startup (bad valve seals). The exhaust note to me, is better than a Mustang GT. Hopefully in the next year, I'll be getting a Cam Kit, 4 barrel carb, and intake.

See if you guys are tied in with United Four Wheel Drive Assoc. This is a non-profit International Assoc. They support ONLY Full size rigs from US, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Mexico and other countries. It's time the world's environmentalists realize that we're not about tearing up terrain and throwing beer cans out the window. We're the one's cleaning up the trails.
