How "boohoo" could you get, so you did not get what you wanted.
Just vote for something you selfish bastages.
What is realy funny is HTC is probably working on ALL* of these aircraft right now,and just want a "what one should we finish,FIRST" kind of imput,to see what effort should be made on what airframe first."
and ya'll are acting like because it got voted out,you will never see it again.
When htc started asking for beta testers for CT,then you know ct is finished, just needs hammering and polishing out for bugs and minor changes .ect
The fact they are focusing on planes right now,is a hint they will keep plowing this way now that most of the work* is done.
i mean heck,ya'll saw the pictures of a pacific base, palm trees..
I have no doubt we will see more content soon,so dont kick your feet, vote for something and have a voice.
What i find comedic also,is the fact some people have said they want more maps and such, before more planes.
But as shown already,we got a new tank..will be geting a new plane..and there is aparently a new pacific map.
I would say HTC is doing everything they can to make sure EVERYONE gets a slice of the pie....
It may not be the flavor you want, but if you are hungry..eat it.
:aok
IMHO :)

I was torn... I mean really really torn.
Here I could cast my vote for the 25 so I could pretend to be Ben Afflack or the 36 so I could pretend to be Richard Dreyfuss.
It was a tough and life changing decision. So I slept on it. Kind of po'd my boss but I told him that this was more important than him making a little money through my efforts so shoosh.
Finally I decided the 25
For Toads dad.

I went with the A26,just cuz I like attack planes. I really should vote for the Mitch tho.I knew a couple of Mitch gunners and some of their stories, wether elaborated or not were incredible. These 2 guys made the FW190 sound so scary it gave me nightmares as a child.
So if the mitch isnt gone from the list next round,I'' send my vote that way:aok

Yak3

this one tore me beetween my cookies and my milk. I like the B-25, BUT!!, Yak-3 sounds very good and would fill hole, but so would B-25 for EW. I voited for the yak first, but im leaning more towards my cookies (Mitch) then my milk (Yak):furious :furious :furious

25 because it can fill alot of country slots.
will keep skinners busy for years to come, with all the skins from every one who used it.
29 for the same reason, but as an attack aircraft with 3 diffrent versions.
american ,british ,russian.
Each a bit different in it's own right.

They WHAT!!?? A whopping total of 6 were built, none of which got anywhere near combat.
What on earth would they be doing in IL2? Do they have the Sukhoi 7 as well?

:lol Ok, didn't get the joke! ;)
Puck, there's a fanta historic campaing, IIRC, in the original IL2, with the BI-1. And, yeah, maybe now there's a Su-7 (too lazy to open the program), as the last add on to Forgotten Battles is set in 1946, full of jets and experimental german planes.

Quote from - Airacobras of the Soviet Union.
_____________________________ ________________
The Airacobra was quite popular with its Russian pilots, who appreciated its heavy armament, its excellent low-altitude performance, and its ability to absorb an incredible amount of battle damage. When operating at low altitudes, the Airacobra was often able to hold its own against top-of-the-line German fighters. Some Soviet pilots felt that the P-39 outclassed even the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and Focke Wulf FW 190 at altitudes below 10,000 feet.

Not sure about the outclassing, but a lot of low altitude furballs happen in the MA.
Cheers:aok

Quote from Wikipedia article on P-39
_____________________________ ________________
The low-speed, low-altitude turning nature of most air combat on the Russian Front suited the P-39's strengths rather than its inherent weaknesses. The second-highest scoring Allied ace, Pokryshkin, flew the P-39 from late 1942 until the end of the war; his unofficial score in the Airacobra stands at nearly 60 Luftwaffe aircraft.

Maybe he just knew how to fly the plane;)
