Title: Iraq slide show
Post by: Xargos on April 03, 2007, 03:58:27 AM
I was looking for videos of my favorite band and ran across this.  It made me really sad.  If the effects of combat bothers you, you might not want to watch it.

Yep, pretty much all one-sided...just Anti-American, Anti-Bush, Anti-War, Pro-Terror.

Propaganda with music.

I was there for over 14 months, and the spin on this thing is not what I saw or experienced.

God Bless the USA and our Servicemen!

I don't see it like that.  Maybe that was the intention of the producers but it was not mine.  All I see is the effects of combat, whether it's right or wrong.  There is nothing romantic about war.

All the video did for me was make me sad and angry wanting us to fight even harder because of all the lose we have suffered. It would be ashame to let our soldiers to have died in vain by running away.  I'm sorry you don't see it that way.

P.S.  You know it really bothers me that you guys think my intentions where malevolent.

BOCs 'other' band name was 'Soft white underbelly'.. they'd play small venues (clubs) during the stadium shows under this name...  a relative of mine was excellent friends with E. Blum back in the day.
