Title: restarting AH, and shutting down
Post by: Hajo on December 25, 2001, 05:52:00 AM
When I initially start up AH from the desktop everything runs fine.  If for some reason I have to leave AH and go back to the desktop, when I try to restart AH from the desktop Icon I get this message.  Runtime Error, this program has done an illegal operation and did not close properly.  It gives me the AH exe file...and will not allow me to restart AH.  Then when I select shut down to shut down the PC, Windows partialy shuts down and hangs at the black screen!  I then have to power off the PC for it to shut down, and when I restart Windows does a scan disk.....Any ideas??

Make sure you do not have RW set to autostart.  This is what's causing the run time error.  RW will still autostart without the "autostart" box checked, but unchecking it will get rid of that error on game restart.
