The Mongrels split 1/2 Axis and 1/2 Allied. After a while it was 12 to 18  with the numbers favoring the Allied. With some frustration on the side of the guys flying the Axis side I asked all the Mongrels to come Axis. Then it was lopsided again of course, but at least the Axis had some numbers needed. Put a smart and patient  pilot in a F4U, a Zeke will rarely get a shot off IMHO.

We made one run on a task group with Vals and A6M5 escorts. Only one Val made it to a target. The rest were shot down along with most of our escorts. After that we all went Axis. :)

I work evenings, and miss out on these fun events.  If you don't mind, would you consider putting something together for about 7 pm EST and giving me a holla.  This is the sort of stuff that I have been hoping for since the anouncement of Combat Tour:rolleyes:
