Title: DirectX 6.1 Need 7?

I'm still flogging along with DX 6.1
I'm reading hooror threads about DX 8.
Where can I get DX 7 or should I leave it as it is?

Oh yaeh, by the way, My hardware is CH Force FX which has dated drivers, none will ever probably be developed, so the muck gets deeper, but if DX7 is workable I'd like to try it, got a new GEForce or Radeon coming soon! :confused

 DX7A is the one you want.  DX7 screws up digital joy-sticks.
