At first I couldn't really tell if this was another one of a certain someones shade B29 Nookie accounts, or just another retard. Upon further review I choose retard.

When I saw the title of this thread, my brain told me B-52 and I got excited.
Stupid brain...

My bet is on someone basking in the shade and unleashing their inner idiot.

-.- but seriously.... Why not a b-29... over a small b-25. 29 carried atomic bomb and it would make a good longdistance hi alt bomber

and the n00k lover inside comes out

The B-29's used for the atomic bomb drops were heavily modified the aircraft
-ALL gun turrets except tail gun were removed
-Removing Armor Plating
-Installing Curtiss Electric Propellers
-Reconfiguration of the Bomb Bay
These aircraft modifications were made over 15 aircraft codenamed "Silverplate"
Plus, it was already mentioned that HTC will never introduce a bomb over 4,000 pounds.
All I am saying is, not all b-29's are the same. Especially the 15 "Silverplate" B-29's reconfigured for using an Atomic Bomb
Note To Aces High: Please pardon me for using this "Aircraft and Vehicles" forum so much today
-
The B-29 would take a massive amount of development time and therefore it, and all other heavy bombers, were not even up for consideration.
Eventually it'll probably happen. Probably.

Lack of decent high altitude high speed interceptors in the game.
Few fighter pilots are going to go on high CAP station against high altitude bombers incoming. Most of this game is played low, not up high like the air war actually was.
Too high a bomb load per plane and flight, may upset game balance too far.
Would be a perked bomber. Popular vote don't want a perked bomber.
Loaded B-29 with conventional bombs has a gross weight over twice that of Lanc or B-24. Can a loaded B-29 clear the runways in the game now? How much runway do we have? How much does a fully loaded B-29 need? May require new bases be done. More work.
Very wide wings. Bomber pilot spawns in the hangar will rip the wings off. Would require hangar changes.
HTC won't make the Grand Slams and Tall Boys. Certainly not going to make a nook. Why listed to even more i wanna nook whines in the boards if the B-29 was in the game?

Not only that, but I remembered that dropping the atom bomb was the United States President's decision to drop a nuke, the military cant just drop a bomb when ever they want to

I feel your pain...I still say we need EB-52 Megafortresses and QB-1C Vampire III's
:)
Long live Dale Brown!!!

All this stuff that people are saying has been said before about: The Me262, the Me163, the Ar234, the F4U-4, the SpitXIV.
The real reason the B-29 is not in the game is because HTC has a limited staff and thusly planes with a higher priority are being made first. If HTC had 100 graphic artists and modelers, you can bet you would see a B-29 in here. Along with night fighting, realistic radars, submarines, and all other kinds of neat stuff.

It is but they should rename it the Eternalfortress or the Foreverfortress.
