went to go post some pics,  http://www.onpoi.net  says Account Suspended?  anybody else getting this?

Heres a tip I learned since 1993 on the intardnet:
Never accept the charity of others to host your pictures unless you want to lose access to those pictures one day.

I have all my pictures, I'm not worried about the access, I just use it so I can post pics here.  Every once in awhile i go and delete them.    It wouldnt bother me if the charged a small fee to help with the server either.

I use photobucket Rip.   It's free for what I need it for.

I used some sort of free host years ago and they went out of business. So I've just paid for it over the years. (shrugs)  I also usually carry about 1 gig of pictures on my host at any given time (this does not include the sports photography business, for that I use Printroom)

Photobucket has been around for awhile though, they seem pretty stable.

Do you suppose Saw suspended PH out of anger for being banned?

I have no idea, but I'm guessing it has something to do with Saw getting PNG'd (i dont know what for).

Must have cost him a fair bit of money to keep that page running for the benefit of AH, i guess he questioned why he should keep it running after getting a PNG.

I don't think that's it. I think he's switching jobs and probably lost access to the space. Just a guess but more likely, IMO, than him having a snit over PNG.

who said he quit PH?   Over the last few years there have been glitches and problems and PH has always come back up.  I inclinded to agree with Toad.

No Pic hanger what a bummer .. Saw's place had some great easy to use interfa ce  for us idiots .

Its a host thing - probally just a billing hickup.
